This policy explains what information Black River Aerials collects through this website, how it’s used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, the site address, a preferred date, the site size and your project notes.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP addresses and browser type to keep the site secure and running. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Client project pages
If you’re invited to a project page, we store your email address so you can sign in with a one-time code. Signing in sets a single cookie that keeps you signed in on that device for up to 30 days. It isn’t used for anything else.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare a quote and schedule your flight.
- To deliver your files and keep records of the work we do for you.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts this website and project pages, stores quote requests and project files, and runs Turnstile, a spam check on our form.
- Our email provider delivers sign-in codes, project updates and the notification we receive when you submit a request.
These providers process information only to provide their services to us.
Photos and video from our flights
We plan every flight to capture the site we’ve been hired to document. We don’t set out to photograph people or neighboring properties, and we keep flights within FAA rules. If you see yourself or your property in our published work and want it removed or blurred, email us and we’ll take care of it.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and project records as long as we need them for the work and for normal business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we’re required to keep it.
